Byron O’Dell, Senior Director, Demand Management, IHS, has enjoyed executing marketing programs and helping to evolve the science of marketing for more than 15 years. In his current role, O’Dell works closely with the corporate, product and field marketing teams to deploy processes and marketing programs to drive revenue for IHS, based in Englewood, Colo. Prior to IHS, O’Dell worked for IMI Norgren, where he managed the marketing efforts for the Americas region for this large engineering/manufacturing firm.

O’Dell has an extensive background in B2B marketing and marketing communications including the management of a large marketing automation infrastructure for IHS. He graduated with an advertising degree from the University of Illinois-Champaign and has an MBA from Regis University.

O’Dell has a passion for clever – but effective – marketing efforts, lead nurturing programs and marketing analytics to drive smarter results. In addition, O’Dell is honored to be a group author on the Colorado Business Marketing Association book, Advice from the Top: The Expert Guide to B2B Marketing.
