Description: Kaci Bower

Kaci Bower
Senior Research Analyst, MarketingSherpa

Kaci Bower is a Senior Research Analyst for MarketingSherpa, part of MECLABS Content Group. She focuses on Inbound Marketing and is the author of the 2012 Search Marketing Benchmark Reports (SEO and PPC editions) and the Inbound Marketing Handbook. Kaci is also a co-presenter at the MarketingSherpa B2B Advanced Practices Workshop where she speaks on the topics of mastering essential lead generation and lifting results. Prior to joining MarketingSherpa, Kaci spent a large portion of her career in the telecom industry in roles spanning strategic planning to web marketing. As a web marketer, she gained her online marketing experience as the Senior Web Marketing and Content Manager for Verizon's small business and medium business customer segments. Kaci also continues to moonlight as an independent consultant to non-profits by helping them develop and execute growth strategies in a creative, cost-controlled and resource-efficient manner. She holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.

Jen Doyle
Senior Research Manager at MarketingSherpa

Jen Doyle is a Senior Research Manager at MarketingSherpa covering lead generation, B2B marketing, social media and search engine marketing. Jen is a six-time Lead Author for various MarketingSherpa publications, including the 2011 and 2012 Editions of the B2B Marketing Benchmark Report, the B2B Advanced Practices Handbook, and the upcoming 2012 Lead Generation Benchmark Report. Jen is a speaker at MarketingSherpa and partner events, a MarketingSherpa newsletter columnist, blog contributor, and a speaker for MarketingSherpa and partner webinars. Her research has been instrumental in the development of new media marketing practices, including the FUEL methodology for B2B marketing effectiveness.

Prior to joining MarketingSherpa, Jen managed search, social media and direct marketing campaigns for companies in the computer software industry, consumer retail, B2B services as well as nonprofit. Jen has been recognized for her successful experience specifically in B2B marketing and the practice of inbound lead generation programs targeting a wide variety of audiences.

W. Jeffrey Rice
Senior Research Analyst, Content Group at MECLABS

W. Jeffrey Rice is a Senior Research Analyst at MECLABS focusing on email and mobile marketing. He is the lead author of MarketingSherpa's 2012 Email Handbook and Email Benchmark Report. His research has been instrumental in the development of new email marketing practices to accelerate performance. Jeff has conducted eight full-day email workshops and spoken at four MarketingSherpa conferences. Additionally, Jeff is a frequent presenter on webinars and is an e-newsletter columnist for MECLABS.

Prior to joining MarketingSherpa, Jeff led marketing efforts at B2B and sports entertainment companies. His knowledge of on-line, traditional and event marketing strategies enabled him to coordinate cross-functional teams to implement impactful marketing initiatives.

 

Description: Meghan Lockwood

Meghan Lockwood
Research Analyst, MarketingSherpa

Meghan Lockwood is primarily focused on landing page optimization. She is the lead author of the upcoming 2012 Landing Page Optimization Handbook, and a contributor to the 2011 Search Engine Marketing Benchmark Report - PPC Edition. She is responsible for compiling benchmark data and insights that can be used to guide marketers’ strategic decisions and tactical planning.

Prior to MarketingSherpa, Lockwood was the third employee at the award-winning startup, Rally Point Webinars, and managed the marketing and public relations for the book Major League Bride.

She began her career in consulting and financial services, and has been recognized as an expert mutual fund commentator by the national and international press, including The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. Lockwood holds a BA in Government from Cornell University.
